We provide Occupational Therapy services to adults and children living at home who require community assessment, rehabilitation and/or capacity building following an acquired brain injury (ABI).

We also work with people who experience functional impairments due to other neurological conditions and disability types.

As well as providing community rehabilitation, Neurolinks can provide Functional Capacity Assessments and SIL and SDA reports for NDIS participants.

Neurolinks Occupational Therapist will work with you to:

All Neurolinks services are provided in the person’s own home, school or their preferred location in the community.

What is Occupational Therapy?

Injury, illness or disability can impact on your independence and participation in valuable life roles and activities.
These activities are referred to as ‘occupations’, and can be grouped into three broad categories;

Leisure

Leisure activities are what you do for relaxation, play or enjoyment, e.g. reading, playing a musical instrument or sport.

Self Care

Self care activities help you remain independent and active in everyday life, e.g. showering or cooking.

Productivity

Productive activities are what you do to derive meaning through your contribution e.g. schooling, work, parenting or volunteering.

Occupational Therapists can help you return to these important and meaningful occupations.

Neurolinks can also provide education and training to staff and organisations in regards to working with people with an acquired brain injury.
